The Family Counseling Center “Wefaq” launched the 35th season of the rehabilitation program “For those about to get married”, which was held during the period from 9 to 13 October 2022. The 35th edition of the program is held in cooperation with the General Administration of Endowments as a strategic partner of the center in supporting family stability in society. . This cooperation between the two sides comes from the Center’s keenness to strengthen the principle of one of its basic work values, which is partnership, with an important value of its basic work values, which is partnership, as the Center believes that achieving effective community partnerships is a rich opportunity to exchange experiences and enhance the capabilities and capabilities of the cooperating parties, and the Center seeks cooperation. With the General Administration of Endowments, this strategic cooperation will achieve the greatest possible degree of family cohesion and stability in society, in a way that achieves common goals for both sides. The rehabilitation program for those about to get married is one of the most important basic programs that the Center has been keen to provide since its establishment, targeting the category of young men and women about to get married and those who have contracted the Qur’an. It aims to raise the awareness of young people about to get married and those getting married about the foundations of stable marital life, and to contribute to reducing the rate of divorce before consummation, by preparing and preparing young people about to get married of both sexes to interact in a correct way with the requirements of the new life that they will live, through communicating a set of concepts. related to married life, starting with knowing the rights and duties of both parties, methods of dealing, communication and dialogue skills, and how to deal with various situations that they may experience in their lives, leading to awareness of the stage of having children and what this stage includes of psychological, social and economic readiness, and for young men and women about to get married to be able to Building cohesive and stable families. The program, which was held in cooperation and partnership with the Community College, includes five basic axes: the social axis, the psychological axis, the axis, in addition to the psychological and economic axes. A group of experts and specialists in family and marital relations from inside and outside the center participated in presenting the program’s topics.
